"What happens if your choice is misguided,
you must try to correct it
but what if it's too late? What if you can't?
Then you must find a way to live with it."

This quote seems like a life lesson kind of thing to me and I found it important in the story, what did you guys think of this quote?

  1. I think that this quote says a lot about the pressure put on Gemma in the book. In the book she kind of gets pressure from two sides when it comes to her magic.

One side being the Order. The diary of Mary Dowd opens up new ideas and ways she can use her powers. Her friends want her to explore the possibilities, but she is concerned because she's never really known anything about magic before.

Another side is Kartik. He keeps warning her not to trust the Order. He tells her to keep her visions away and not to use her magic. The quote kind of reminds me of him because he'll give warnings and take little action. Kind of like, you can listen to me if you want, but if you don't and it goes wrong then it's your job to pick up the pieces.

This quote also reminds me a lot of the second book, but I won't go into that because I think I'm the only one who read it.

  3. I think this quote shows that everyone in this world makes mistakes, and if we can fix it before its too late, then that's even better but if we can't that just shows that next time we shouldn't do it again.

For example: When the girls brings the magic of the realms in the real world and lets the creatures loose, if they didn't try to stop them before it was too late who knows what would of happened. But because Gemma took action, they fixed it and knew never to do something like that again.
