At first they were going to make it a movie, but then the author of the book canceled it because she basically didn't want the movie turning out worst than the book so people won't read her books anymore.

ReplyDeleteI think it would have been a better idea if she let them do the movie because that way she would have gotten way more money. Personally I think that if people watched the movie then if they liked it they would want to read the book also.
ReplyDeleteI have mixed feelings about the book being created into a movie. Yeah, I think that people wont read the book after the movie, just like what happens with the Harry Potter books. But then again, its not all about money for her I guess. But at the same time, she could have made it a movie and people would have read the books, like in twilight. Since this book isnt really popular, they wouldnt read the books, and they would just go straight for the movie, so its not really like twilight, because those were really popular and everyone read them then watched the movie.
